Description

Armoured cable with double steel or aluminium tape armour.

For fixed installations that can be vulnerable to mechanical aggression, the POWERHARD F RVFV-K AST/DST cable is particularly well-suited. It is strongly advised for usage in locations (such warehouses, manufacturing companies, and agricultural operations) where rodents may pose a risk to the cable. Its application is also advised for street lighting systems.

UNE-HD 603 defines cross-linked polyethylene insulation as type DIX-3, while IEC 60502-1 defines it as type XLPE.
