TOXFREE ZH RZ1MZ1-K (AS)
Description
An armored LSZH safety cable is TOXFREE ZH RZ1FZ1-K AS. It does not release harmful or corrosive gasses in the event of a fire, safeguarding the public's health and preventing potential harm to electronic devices. Its use is therefore strongly advised in public areas, in rodent-infested installations, and in installations where there is a chance of mechanical aggression against the cable.

Class 5 (flexible) electrolytically annealed copper, according to EN 60228 and IEC 60228.
Insulation
XLPE, or cross-linked polyethylene.
In accordance with HD 308, insulated conductors are typically identified as follows:

3 G Green/yellow + Brown + Blue
Three x Brown, Black, and Grey
4 G Green/yellow + Black + Grey + Brown

Armor
Double tape armour made of steel or aluminum. Single-core cables use aluminum armor to prevent parasite currents that could cause the cable to overheat. The multicore cables are made of steel tape.
External sheath
IEC 60502-1 classifies Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) polyolefins as type ST8, while UNE 21123-4 classifies them as type DMZ-E. Green, fire-retardant, and non-toxic.
