Description

Aluminium halogen free (LSHF) cable for power transmission

An aluminum LSHF cable for permanent installations is called TOXFREE ZH RZ1 (AS) AL. It doesn't release corrosive or toxic gases in the event of a fire, protecting people and electronic devices from potential harm. These cables are particularly advised for use in installations where safety is a top concern as well as in public areas.

Performance of fire

According to EN 60332-3, IEC 60332-3, and EN 50399, fire does not spread.

Low Smoke Halogen Free, or LSHF, is compliant with IEC 60754-1 and EN 60754-1.

According to EN 61034 and IEC 61034, low smoke emissions: Transmittance of light > 80%

low emissions of corrosive gases in accordance with IEC 60754-2 and UNE-EN 60754-2.

In accordance with EN 50575, the response to fire CPR is either B2ca s1a, d1, a1, or Cca-s1a, d1, a1.

The conductor

Class 2 aluminum according to N 60228 and IEC 60228.

Insulation

IEC 60502-1 defines cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), while HD 603 defines type DIX-3.

In accordance with HD 308, insulated conductors are typically identified as follows:

One x Natural Two times Brown + Blue Three G: Green/Yellow + Brown + Blue Three times: Brown, Black, and Grey (reduced cross-section) 3 x + 1 x Brown + Black + Grey + Blue 4 G Green/Yellow + Black + Grey + Brown Four Brown, Black, Grey, and Blue 5 G Green/Yellow + Brown + Black + Grey + Blue Six or more Outer sheath in green/yellow with black numbers

Green Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSHF) polyolefin type ST8 (IEC 60502-1) and type DMZ-E (UNE 21123-4) polyolefin.
